Darius (vision) is a vision of Amanda Graystone's brother, Darius, which she sees after her daughter's death.

Visions

About a month after the death of her daughter Zoe, Amanda sees a vision of her brother Darius near the place where Zoe died in the MAGLEV bombing. She quickly takes some photographs of him and chases him through the streets. Soon after she sees him at the site of a car crash and chases him again. He disappears. ("The Imperfections of Memory")

Later, she visits the site where the crash occurred and she sees vision of him driving over the bridge where he died. ("Ghosts in the Machine")

Trivia

Deleted Plotline

In his effort to take from Daniel everything he loves, Tomas Vergis gaslights Amanda into thinking she sees Darius everywhere. She sees him at the site of the MAGLEV bombing, at the site of a car crash in Caprica City, and driving over the bridge where he died years ago. Vergis' intent was to drive Amanda over the edge. Vergis' Driver posed as Darius, to whom he bears an incredible likeness. ("The Imperfections of Memory")

The producers later realized that this plot strained credulity so they reworked it. The new plot became Amanda's deteriorating mental health. She was reminded of Darius due to the grief over losing her daughter. This, combined with her realization that Daniel was responsible for theft and murder, led to her suicide attempt.[1]

Therefore, Jesse Haddock's scenes as Vergis' Driver were deleted from the episode. They are included in the deleted scenes in the special features on the DVD release.[2]
