Dave is a Ha'la'tha captain who says the Oneris crew is with the Adama family (for protection) after William Adama's murder at the hands of the Guatrau's men. He visits the family the day after to lend his support.
He says William was a great kid. He taught Willie how to play Triad at Goldie's and the kid was already learning how to cheat.
