Doug McLean was born on November 6, 1949, in Canada. He is known for Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009), The Kids in the Hall (1991-1995), Stargate SG-1 (1997-2002) and Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007).
He won a Gemini in 2000 for Best Production Design or Art Direction in a Dramatic Program or Series for Stargate SG-1. He won a Leo in 2001 for Best Production Design of a Dramatic Series for Stargate SG-1.
