Avatar Zoe is born into the real world as a "Skinjob."

Skinjob is Colonial slang for a Cylon with skin.

Origin

Daniel and Amanda Graystone propose to Zoe to make a cylon body for her sentient avatar. Amanda will use her skills as a plastic surgeon to create skin for the body. Zoe coins the term skinjob. This will allow Zoe to exist in the real world and not just in virtual reality. ("Here Be Dragons") ("Apotheosis")

From an interview of Kevin Murphy: Zoe is a rudimentary version of the undetectable, skinjob technology seen in Battlestar Galactica. She is more like Arnold in "Terminator".
