
The SyFy Channel (Sci-Fi Channel, Sci Fi, Syfy) is the cable outlet which hosted Caprica.
Syfy is an American pay television channel that is owned by the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Group division of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. The channel features science fiction, fantasy, horror, supernatural, paranormal, drama, and reality programming. Syfy was launched on September 24, 1992.[1]
Mark Stern was the Executive Vice President for Original Programming at SyFy when Caprica was produced.
